When you layed in bed
Demanding for yous wife,
I know you were in pain.
When you dropped into that chair,
I knew you were in pain.
When you walked from place to place
Grunting with every step
I knew you where in pain.
But I knew if I helped you
You'd be in more pain.
Not physicaly, emosionly.
You worn thin pride would snap.
I wanted to run to your side,
But I knew how proud you were.
You showed it with evey metl
Every trouphy,
Every canoe race won.
But you were knocked down.
You were put through so much pain,
I was happy for you when you passed.
You fought though it,
But with every accomplishment
You got slapped in the face.
At least you died pacefully.
